Stokrio for beauty & skincare

Plan formulas, packaging and expiry in one place

Beauty brands juggle shelf life, minimum batch sizes and a long list of components. Stokrio forecasts finished products, turns them into packaging and ingredient requirements, and flags lots before they expire.

The problem

Why beauty & skincare inventory is hard

Expiry and shelf life

Overbuying isn't just tied-up cash — product expires. You need to know which lots are close to date and pick them first.

Components run out first

The jar, pump or carton often has a longer lead time than the formula. A missing component stops a production run.

Minimum batch sizes

Contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers have high minimums, so each order has to cover more months of demand.

Kits and gift sets

Gift sets pull stock from the same products you sell individually; planning them separately double-counts or under-counts demand.

A typical rhythm

What planning looks like week to week

  1. 01

    Weekly

Review the material requirements report and order components with the longest lead times first.

  2. 02

    At receiving

Capture lot and expiry on each delivery so the expiry radar stays accurate.

  3. 03

    Monthly

Check the excess and aging reports for products that won't sell through before their expiry.

Questions

Can I track expiry by lot?
Yes. Lot numbers and expiry dates are recorded per receipt and shown by location, with expired and expiring lots highlighted.
Does Stokrio plan packaging?
Yes. Add packaging and ingredients to a bill of materials and Stokrio forecasts and reorders them from the products that use them.
How are gift sets handled?
A gift set sale counts as demand for each product inside it, so component products are reordered with sets included.
