Run the Monday buying meeting in 20 minutes
Buying used to mean exporting sales, updating a spreadsheet and arguing about what to reorder. The goal is a short meeting that ends with POs sent.
- Who it's for
- An operations lead who reviews purchasing once a week.
- Time needed
- 20–30 minutes a week
- 1
Start with the Monday digest
Last week's sales against the week before and last year, what to order by supplier, deliveries due and the biggest movers — in the inbox before the meeting.
More on alerts & weekly digest → - 2
Clear the alerts
Out of stock, order now and late POs, most severe first. Update expected dates on late POs so forecasts use them.

- 3
Raise POs by supplier
Select the suggested lines, fit to budget if cash is tight, and create one draft PO per supplier.

- 4
Email them
Send each PO to the supplier with a CSV attached; replies come back to the buyer.

What changes
- One source of truth instead of a spreadsheet per buyer
- Decisions based on the forecast and revenue at risk
- POs leave the meeting already sent
